Our Mission

The Millard Business Community Foundation’s purpose is to provide support and service for worthwhile endeavors in the Millard and Greater Omaha areas.

The Millard Business Community Foundation was founded in 2010 to fulfill the Millard Business Association’s Fourth core objective to “Provide benevolent community programs”. The signature projects of the Foundation are Project Wee Care and Scholarships to Millard area high school seniors.
Project Wee Care provides Hope to Millard Public Schools students and their families thru food, gifts, connections to important non profit services, and a family event during the holiday season.   In 2024, 330 families (more than 900 kids) were helped with a ‘hand up’. This link provides more information and opportunities to adopt a youth or family and/or volunteer.4
The Foundation will provide six $2,000 scholarships to high school seniors at the three Millard High Schools and Skutt High School.  High School Seniors can apply for the 2025 scholarship until February 1, 2025.
School Connect Pilot Program.  In partnership with the Millard Public Schools, Within Reach, and various non profits, Churches, and businesses, two Millard schools were selected to be a pilot program.  School Connect surrounds the school with resources to meet the highest needs for their specific schools.  The program started with the simple question: “What is the most important need of your families and staff.”  Rockwell Elementary and Andersen Middle School are the first two schools selected for the program. Identified needs include food insecurity, teacher/staff appreciation, facility upgrades, and transportation.
Annual Scholarship Golf Scramble is an important source of funds for the high school scholarships, Project Wee Care, and School Connect program. The golf scramble is scheduled for September 18 at Pacific Springs Golf Course. About 120 golfers participated in 2024.
