Our Mission

The Millard Business Community Foundation’s purpose is to provide support and service for worthwhile endeavors in the Millard and Greater Omaha areas.

The Millard Business Community Foundation was founded in 2010 to fulfill the Millard Business Association’s Fourth core objective to “Provide benevolent community programs”. The signature projects of the Foundation are Project Wee Care and Scholarships to Millard area high school seniors.
Project Wee Care provides Hope to Millard Public Schools students and their families thru food, gifts and a family event during the holiday season.  In 2022, 237 families, 631 youth, and 1074 total family members received assistance from Project Wee Care. In 2023, we are helping 345 families (more than 900 kids) with a ‘hand up’. This link provides more information and opportunities to adopt a youth or family and/or volunteer.
The Foundation will provide six $2,000 scholarships to high school seniors at the three Millard High Schools and Skutt High School.  Applications are being accepted through February 1, 2024.
Annual Scholarship Golf Scramble is the primary source of funds for the scholarships. The Golf Scramble was September 18, 2023 at Oak Hills Country Club. About 100 golfers particpated.
