Project Wee Care Non Profit Partners

The Millard Business Community Foundation is proud to partner with non-profits that have a similar mission to assist youth and their families with a ‘handup.’

These non-profits will have a table at the December 13 Project Wee Care North Pole Family Day. Please consider supporting these organizations at their upcoming events.

  • Millard Public Schools Foundation

The Millard Public Schools Foundation provides important support to enhance the classroom experience.  The Foundation is a major supporter of Project Wee Care and will provide a drawing for holiday wreaths at the North Pole Family Day December 13.  November 14 is Jingle 2025, a fundraiser at Champions Run to support the Foundation programs.  For more information and to register, click this link.

  • Sleep in Heavenly Peace

2,193 kids in Omaha are waiting on you to help them sleep tonight. Join us as we partner with our friends from Sleep in Heavenly Peace to provide beds to children and families in need. We share SHP’s dream that no kid should sleep on the floor! This is a fantastic way to share the love of Jesus! On November 8th, volunteers will gather to deliver beds. Here is link to register to volunteer.

Qualified Charitable Distribution Donations

Hard to believe the fourth quarter of 2025 is here.  This is when year end tax planning is in full swing.  Millard Business Community Foundation accepts Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) donations in support of Project Wee Care.

QCD allows IRA holders, age 70 1/2 or older, to donate to a qualified charity from their Traditional or Roth IRA (including inherited) tax-free.

Consult your tax professional to ensure it is in your best interest to complete a QCD and your distribution qualifies.  The Millard Business Community Foundation qualifies as a 501(C)3 charity. Contact your financial advisor to request the QCD be issued from your Traditional or Roth IRA.
