Project Wee Care Kickoff Event September 17

Project Wee Care Kickoff features a free dinner and information on how groups, businesses or individuals can make an impact on families nominated by the  Millard Public Schools (MPS).

In 2023, 345 families (921 youth) participated in Project Wee Care.  Every school in the MPS system had nominated families.

We’re expecting to provide a ‘hand up’ to a similar number of families in 2024.

Free dinner from The Olive Garden starts at 6 PM with the program at 6:30 PM.  Hear from speakers on the Project Wee Care impact, meet other volunteers, and become a part of this impactful project.

The event takes place at our North Pole, Waters Edge Church, 19600 Harrison street.

Thanks to our Kickoff Sponsors Millard Public School Foundation and The Olive Garden.

Sponsorships Support Our Families

Project Wee Care and the Annual Scholarship Golf Scramble are the Millard Business Community Foundations (MBCF) two major programs to support youth in the Millard area.

Sponsorships are one way businesses, organizations or individuals can support those efforts.  In 2023, Project Wee Care provided a ‘handup’ to 345 families (921 Youth) and proceeds from the Golf Scramble provided six $2,000 Scholarships to high school seniors.

Project Wee Care Opportunities:

  • Sponsor a Child: $75. You provide the funds, our volunteers will do the shopping.
  • Adopt to Shop: We’ll provide the youth information on needs and wants and you do the shopping
  • Support a Family: $300. Sponsorship will provide funds for food and gifts for a family of four.
  • Help Feed Our Families. Provide funds from $150 to $1,000 to support a family (Families).
  • Donate $25 Gift Cards and MBCF will match by purchasing an equal amount for a family outing (restaurant, sporting event, movies, fun activities, etc.).
